Markt 5 Cafe - Reservar una mesa

We were not greeted at the door but was called by a waitress to our table, as the cafe was crowded. Another waitress followed us to our table and barated us to just walk towards the back to which we replied that we were shown our table. She was so rude and aggressive towards us and our waitress. If seating is a problem at this establishment then they should have someone at the door to greet people and not follow the customers to their tables and raise their voice to them.

I have lunched here on many occasions with various friends and have never been disappointed. The service is great and the cakes are even better and I believe that some of them are baked on the premises! In the summer there is a great little seating area out the back in the garden, it 's so quiet out there you wouldn 't believe you 're almost in the center of town. I would definitely recommend this little 'hide away ' for lunch with friends :

A hidden gem on the corner of the Paderborn Marktplatz, the Markt 5 cafe is a small privately run cafe and bar, that serves excellent cake, along with their extensive tea menu. However, I love the place for its ambience, which is extremely well done, and comfortable. A must visit, for anyone looking for a bit of conversation over a coffee

There is any number of coffees, cakes, drinks or simple meal available here. There is no doubt that the staff are amongst the friendliest in Paderborn; the good numbers at the cafe every time I have been there show this to be the case

very beautiful location. the garden in the courtyard is wonderful and welcoming to recover. also with live music. great atmosphere! and the coffee nowhere in paderborn tastes better!
