the place doesn't look like much, but is still a precious stone. the menu does not contain too many dishes, but still enough to offer a great variety and make selection difficult. weine, both normal and apple, are a lot. eating was easy (as in...not too fantasy), but really well done and super-tasty. the only minus is that the service did not have the best day at our visit. we will visit again when the opportunity rises, but this time a reservation (which I would recommend).
this is one of a dozen or so restaurants on wilhelmsplatz, but the only one on the place itself. that means they can sit outside without taking over the fume of a passing folk car. very pleasant outside area. the menu is really German without...pretentious concoctions. there is also a daily menu, but as it is daily, is open to ask: I had cauliflower soup followed by leber and wobble. both are excellent. service is friendly and prompt.
they saw their ad on facebook for a “grill and chill” evening. real creativity to attract customers: gazpacho, tapas, all they eat grill of fish and meat (calamari, fish, sausage, leber, garnelen. also a beautiful refreshing wine mix. people who create such things at such a high level, earn praise and visit!
Had dinner here with some colleagues. We each had the schnitzel and it was fantastic. The restaurant was quite crowded with many large tables filled with people having a group meal. A very good vibe. Both as a lunch or Saturday guest, or as a private party, the location is hard to beat and the food consistently very good. Generous portions and excellent service make a visit here one you won't regret.
This is a very good option if you are around Offenbach and looking for German food and good local atmosphere. Very good service, polite and speak good english. Try the fish or wurst.
