Martine's at Tuckahoe is my hot spot to get the finest rich pastries to satisfy my sweet tooth. Pastries made with passion, the designs and features are self explanatory. My child loves their baguette, soft and fine texture, will last a day or 2 of freshness. I rather drive 3 miles to Tuckahoe instead of walking 10 mins to Scarsdale because of their services. Each purchase comes with a smile and a positive attitude. The server who assisted me goes by the name Counter T, Thank U for organizing my order and preparing it. If possible to leave zero stars I would.I stopped in and asked for the “Funfetti Cake” in the display window, advertised as “Funfetti Cake”. We cut it at my son’s birthday party to find that Martine’s “funfetti” cake is actually not “funfetti” cake, but plain vanilla cake, with vanilla filling, and a few colorful sprinkles candy on the top. We had no use for this as it wasn’t the cake requested by the birthday boy, and is not “Funfetti” as advertised.I called this morning and spoke to Brenda who was less than helpful. Went on a Sunday early afternoon and had the spinach and jam pique with coffee. It was delicious, flavorful and fresh. I decided to eat it in the store and the environment was very welcoming and quite. A person on another table was reading a book and others very chatting. Overall a great experience ? I found out about this place because of the chocolate babka I received as a gift.

I really love this place, but they need to improve how they package their cakes. This is the second time I've bought a strawberry shortcake, and both times the cake seemed to be sitting on something slippery. When we opened the box, it was a mess that didn't resemble a cake at all. It's happened twice now.
Great little cafe/bakery to get a cappuccino , latte or mocha with a array of small bite desserts such as macaroons, small cookies, sweet breads or with their delicious tray of sandwiches that gives it a French feel.
