Martins Place - Reserva de mesa

I haven't been to Martin's Place for about 16 years since moving out of the area, but I was meeting with old friends and I thought it would be great to go back and see if was just the same. Reassuringly it was still looked exactly the same cosy and friendly. The smell was amazing as you walked in. I had the Chicken Supreme Princess which was delicious, served with chips and lots of vegetables. Followed by a chocolate roulade. All at a very reasonable price too. I will definitely be back and will not leave it 16 years this time :

I've been to Martin's place twice now and have not been at all disappointed. The ambience and the customer service is first class. There's a personal feel to the restaurant and very cosy. The steak was to die for. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but you have to book in advance as it's very popular. Thank you for you kindness and attention to your customers.

We hadn’t booked but we were soon found a table. The dining room is quite small and with the aromas and sounds of cooking from the nearby kitchen it gave us the feeling of eating in someone’s home rather than in a restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food was excellent and obviously freshly cooked for us.

I have been a resident of Uxbridge my entire life and have always wanted to dine at this restaurant but never had the opportunity until now. I was very impressed with the food, which reminded me of the delicious dishes my grandmother used to cook. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the house wine was also excellent. This traditional restaurant serves classic dishes from the 1980s. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu and it was delicious. My colleagues all had filet steaks and said they were the best steaks they had ever tasted. The prices are very reasonable, making it great value for money. Can't wait to come back soon, Martin!

Petite bistro with limited covers, MAKE SURE YOU BOOK WELL AHEAD. On a dull Wednesday November evening it was full and they were turning people away at 7.30pm! I think that says it all. I don't think there is anything in the area that comes anywhere near the quality of Martin's Place.

Staying nearby on a theatre trip weekend. As before we came to Martin's place. The steak was fabulous one of the best I've ever had so tender. Good rosé in the absence of champagne! Will obviously be back.

Always great food and service is lovely! This is My go to place in Uxbridge and the only restaurant you can get proper French cuisine
