We were in town overnight. Please understand that this is the only time we have been to Martio’s Pizza. When I go to a restaurant that I am not familiar with I usually order something that is easy to prepare and hard to “mess up”. We did not go for pizza. My wife ordered the eggplant Parmesan and I ordered the small house salad and Lasagne. The salad was great It was really delicious dressed with red wine vinegar/oil and fresh ingredients. I kept telling my wife how good it was. For the most part it was downhill from there. My wife’s eggplant tasted like it was sautéed in a poor quality olive oil, vegetable oil or a combination thereof. It was barely edible but it was better than the lasagne...
I have passed this place thousands of times, but never ate here. I stopped in tonight and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered pizza, 2 heroes and some cannoli's to go. The pizza was excellent and in my opinion, better than the pizza at other nearby restaurants! The heroes also got great reviews!! Although I'm not a huge fan of cannoli's, they were very good and hit the spot : I have no idea why it took me so long to try this place out, but I will def. be back! The staff was also super friendly.
While the pizza was okay, it took FOREVER for them to get us our food. I’m not exaggerating, it was a good 20 minutes plus before our food came. I have to say, I’m almost walked out. As for the atmosphere, it’s nice, but the tables in the booths are way too high, like if I wanted to put my arms on the table, it would make a 90 degrees angle. The servers were nice and all, and the food was mid tier, but I can’t say I would come back unless I want to waste 45 minutes.
Martio's Brick Oven Pizza is thin, hot, and absolutely delicious. I can't get enough of their pasta fagioli either. I have been a loyal customer for 40 years, which is practically my entire life. You simply must try it - it's the best in town!

Pizza was amazing. My son said it's his favorite of all pizza places. It is really good though so I can understand where he's coming from. The place is like an old school pizzeria feels. Service was good.
I always enjoy returning to Martios, it feels like coming home. The food and service are as excellent as ever, just like when I was a child. The combo meal is amazing. Thank you, Rockin Rudy.
We stopped in for lunch while on business travel. We split a few pizzas. Charming place, good service and good pizza. Will go again next time we travel through.
My daughter really enjoys the pizza at this restaurant. The chicken and shrimp parm dishes are fantastic. The service is consistently excellent.
