I wanted to try maru after it was recommended by a local Facebook group. there are four solid vegan options on the menu and we have tried three. the kfc korean fried cauliflower was really delicious and of those who are not in the regular fans of cauliflower. the dipping sauce was not too spicy for us and the spiced radishes were delicious. the dolsot bibimbap was hearty and really good with the chili sauce. enjoy it from the heated stone bowl is part of the fun, it would not be so pleasant if it was taken out. everyone at the table loved the Korean veggie pancake. it was thick, chewing and full of taste. I will definitely order again and hope that they will expand with some more options in...

The KFC Korean fried cauliflower was really tasty and loved by those who aren’t usually fans of cauliflower. The dipping sauce wasn’t too spicy for us and the pickled radishes were delicious. The Dolsot bibimbap was hearty and really good with the chili sauce. Enjoying it out of the heated stone bowl is part of the fun it wouldn’t be as enjoyable if it was take out. came here because we have seen the vegan options on the menu. we ordered the kfc korean fried chicken and tried all sose options on the side, korean pfannkuchen der Dolsot-Bipbimbap. the Korean fried chicken was flower cabbage, the coating was thick and super crispy. our favorite sauce was the gochujang. it was not spicy at all, it was more like a sweet chili sauce. I had a bipbimbap and that was not too different. our favorite dish of all was the Korean pancake- it was so yummy! really thick, tons sweet. ultra crispy outside, but soft and friendly chew on the inside. really delicious. we would go back to pancakes.

I’ve been looking for Korean vegan place for looooooong time and finally found it! Got cauliflower fried chicken, japchae and bibimbap. Everything was so good and tasty. Service was wonderful. I’ll definitely go back there again.
