The bhajiyas were tasty and crispy. We ordered these together with kachoris and some other type of flat bhajiyas and tea. All came to £35 but one thing that really angered me is the quality of the tamarind chutney and fake ketchup. The tamarind chutney was just brown coloured water with no flavour and the ketchup was this pink slime. When you spend this much on basic indian street food they don't even serve you decent tomato sauce and chutney. Plus no music! Totally over rated and absolutely not worth going to. But if you do go, go next door to Prasad first and buy some tamarind chutney and then go to VB and buy a small bottle of heinz ketchup. Then you'll enjoy the bhajiyas!!

The service was appalling, with only two staff members who were both abrupt and rude. The Maru bhajia was overpriced at £10.99 per plate and tasted like nothing more than a bunch of fried potatoes—no seasoning or flavor at all. The chutneys on the tables were so watered down they tasted like water. They boast on their website about being Kenyan-inspired, but having had authentic Maru bhajia from Diamond Plaza in Kenya, I can tell you that this was nothing like it. The kachori was also bland and lacked seasoning. Overall, a very disappointing meal and I would not recommend this place.

Avoid avoid avoid. Wish I read the reviews before we went and came to TripAdvisor to see if we were the only ones who had a bad experience- sadly not. I have been looking forward to going to this place but left so disappointed. Over priced for a small plate of bhajia which are not even that tasty. What's with the absolutely awful sauces! So bad and greedy and would not ever return. Shame on you.

The OG and still the best! Marus is an institution and deservedly so! The potato Bhajias for which they are so famous are consistently excellent big slices, cut super thin, served piping hot, with tasty chutneys all washed down with an ice cold Thums Up heaven! Samosa chaat also deserves mention (even the kids enjoyed it). Staff are really lovely and restaurant is very clean pay them a visit! Reserva una mesa ahora

Poor value for money. I would have previously given Maru Bhajia house the benefit of the doubt; however, they have now combined the large and small bhajia for a medium plate which is not enough for 2 adults. Extremely disappointed, and I agree about the service having gone down hill. Dirty shop with little or no hygiene standards!

The worst Marus bhajias. Even in Kenya the locals bhajia houses make as good quality as the original Maru Bhajias. I recently visited Kenya and I was delighted to taste the orignal Crispy Maru stlye bhajiaja event in petrol stations. Here in Wembley I would have given minus stars if it was possible

I had come here after many years. The bhajiyas are still tasty and crispy as I remember. The prices for the portion size are not great. Service on this occasion was a little slow but I think they had just opened for the day
