Stopped in for a carry out since I've lived in west Bloomfield for a year now and have never been here! It's super small inside (like ten tables, maybe) and a bar. It was packed on a Sunday near 6 PM with one cook and one server. Ordered the cheese curds and Reuben. Both were delicious and would get them again. For two Reuben's and one cheese curd order, the bill with tax was $37, which is slightly high in my opinion. Also, I was hoping for kettle chips or more a homemade chips, but the sandwiches come with a bag of Lays potato chips, unless you upgrade the side. Tip: if you like 1000 island on your Reuben, I'd recommend getting a side instead of it being on because you get more.
I visited this pub for a pint of Guinness while waiting for some friends, and I had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and it was impressive to see the bartender also serving as the cook—definitely a unique vibe! The menu offered a nice variety of food, and the beer and alcohol selection was quite decent. As an Irish pub, I was hoping for more Irish beers on tap, but they did have canned Guinness and knew how to pour it perfectly. The prices were reasonable, and the welcoming atmosphere made it feel like a true local spot. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
I would describe this restaurant/bar as a hidden gem since it's located on a main street but has minimal signage and very limited parking. Inside, you'll find a bright and inviting space with plenty of tables and seating at the bar. The food is exceptional; I highly recommend trying any of their hamburgers—they're absolutely delicious! The cook works right behind the bar, allowing you to watch and smell your meal being prepared. The prices are reasonable for both food and drinks, and they offer special food deals on most days.
I would just call this restaurant/bar a hole in the wall because it is on a main road with very little signage before and very limited parking. Inside there is a bright and cheerful restaurant with numerous tables and seats at the bar. The food is fantastic. I would recommend any of their hamburgers. You're so good! Tracy and Mike (owners) are both very friendly. Love the chicken sandwich and the burgers are great, too! Hoping they'll get some turkey for turkey Ruebens soon. All in all, very affordable prices for great food. While the space is smaller than the average restaurant, the atmosphere has always been friendly and comfortable. Will be making this a regular stop.
