"Went there because it's close to our campsite. Best was the desert, but the mussels weren't great. Restaurant wasn't full, the service was a bit slow. That said the waiters were really helpful. Wouldn't really go back again..."

Previous reviews have already made the point that the exterior of this restaurant is nothing to look at, however it's in a great location with uninterrupted views over the bay. On first glance you may be forgiven if you think it's a seaside cafe, but it really is a first rate restaurant. After all it's the food that matters. The staff were simply charming and friendly, and we both dived in the three course fixed price lunch. To start my wife had the scallops and I have the languistine soup. Both excellent. We both chose the " Lotte" main course which I think was monkfish with chorizo and white beans in a delicious sauce. For a sweet we both had the pear "helen" with chocolate sauce and ice cream. All beautifully presented and we enjoyed every mouthful. We hope to return next time we in Saint pol de Leon because the Mary Stuart will now become a regular visit as far as we are concerned.

The two of us tried this restaurant for the first time. It is in a very old building in the centre of Roscoff and has an Italian theme. We both went for the pizza as they looked very good and we were not disappointed they were delicious. washed down with a medium caraff of house red also very nice this was followed up by an excellent ice cream. The décor is a little basic but the food is good.

This was our first meal after arriving at Roscoff and staying on the Aire in St. Pol de Leon overnight. The restaurant didn't look entirely promising from the outside, but don't let this fool you. Th welcome was very warm and friendly and the food was lovely. Cooked with skill, it was truly delicious and the best kind of start to our French holiday. Highly recommended.
