Per our request we were seated on the front patio. Service was great. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Called in advance prior to arrival since we were traveling from Massachusetts to New York. We wanted to get permission to be seated in patio area with small covered baby carriage that had two well behaved sleeping 7 lb senior (13 years 14 year old) dogs. They are heavily medicated needing meds every 4 hours for health conditions. The temperatures were extreme 90 degrees so they could not be left unattended in car. Hadn't been to Mary's since they were at their old location. Was impressed with the remodeling of this old Friendly's location including the additional parking in rear. Even the new stone/brick wall is a nice added touch. Menu was comparable to other restaurants. My wife had the waffle sundae (with strawberries and lots of whip cream) and I had the Spanish omelet. Received food quickly and our waiter was very good. Would go back.
The food was delicious! Chocolate chip pancakes were light and fluffy, bacon cooked perfectly crisp. Sausage and cookies were delicious and that says a lot because I usually don't like or but their were really good! Server Melissa was great, very attentive. The prices were so fair in view of the large shares. Very recommended!
Server was rude, unpleasant and not friendly at all. Surprised they work in customer service. They forgot a few things we politely asked for as well. If I was the owner I would not want them representing my business.

This is a classic breakfast and lunch diner that offers all the comforts, delicious food, and a clean environment. It can be difficult to find a place that serves grits, but this spot has them.
It wasn't even there. But remember that they removed the street, the old location of kindness. Breakfast was delicious, the service was great and the prices were economical.

Prices are ridiculous. $8.59 For a sausage and egg without cheese. The food is not that good. It's okay at best. Find somewhere cheaper get better food

I tried Dina's omelette from the special breakfast menu over the weekend and it was delicious!
