Mary´s is not sure what it is. It looks like a pub, but not an Irish, Scottish or English pub but something in between. It also tries to be a cafe and a restaurant. But it doesn´t really do anything extremely well. Not that it...is bad at all. It is a fine option for lunch or dinner. Just don´t expect authenticity. Service is acceptable and friendly, food is good but not great, prices are reasonable. You can´t go wrong making a visit for a meal or even an after dinner drink, just pay attention to the name and expect a cafe/pub/restaurant experience, whatever that is.

The drinks are good, the service is moderate, the onion rings are served squishy and raw, and the owner is rude and incompetent when it comes to customer service. After we didn't like to eat raw ingredients and after five minutes fight loud by the owner... we were asked to never come back to the pub. Unhappy as this place is a reason for after-work drinks with friends.
I sent the onion rings back because they were raw. The owner stole and became defensive and asked me not to come back. Wow, really, just because I didn't like the food. This guy shouldn't be in the restaurant business, and I'm sure he won't see me or my friends again. Also Bavarian music and beer were really strange in a Scottish pub.

Stopped here by chance while heading to the Hotel at the end of October. The street were empty and have to say that just a few customers were in. Pale ales and cask ales are available and whiskey as well.
The best choice in Wiener Neustadt. Excellent Food. A big variety of drinks. Even though ist a nonsmoker place they got a Garden where you can smoke even during winter they keep it warm outside.
This place is really great from any perspective except the speed of foods. But that is acceptable. You dont care much when you enjoy the atmosphere.
While spending a couple of days in Wr Neustadt I had the chance of a couple of Ales in this pub. Nice place to go and lovely people to meet
