Ma's Italian Kitchen

We did not have the best experience here. I will start off by saying, the hostess was super kind and amazing. And I do appreciate that they do have three vegan options, and they are full entrees as well. We had two people come to our table and get our drink order and asked if we needed anything. And then we had our server which was a very tall bald man come last to take our order. We placed our order and it took over 40 minutes to receive our food. Whenever we asked for anything like straws or napkins we had to ask 4+ times. Our server didn't really acknowledge us. We were surrounded by two other tables and he would come and check on those tables constantly and get them everything they needed not once did he turn around and ask if we needed anything or if we were okay. Not once. And we weren't okay and we did need things. Whenever we would call out to him when he was leaving those tables he would just keep walking. We had to ask another server and the food runner for assistance multiple times. I completely understand that it was busy and it looked like they were understaffed, however we were not informed of any of this by our server. Had he let us know it was busy but he would do his best to get to us. We would have completely understood. He didn't check on us it's almost like he completely avoided us. Because of this we will never return. We drastically cut the amount we are going to leave for a tip. And because of the tipping culture that America insist on establishing we still left a tip. Otherwise we wouldn't have left anything. I gave an extra star for the vegan options, The sweet hostess and the food runner and other server whose section we weren't even in who assisted us.

What a find!! Really enjoyed our meal! We ate on the patio, which is not much to look at, but ended up being quite pleasant. Closed enough to keep dirt and noise out but cool enough for comfort. We were greeted by (we assume the owner, who was very friendly. He shared that he and his staff were all excitedly looking forward to an annual reward weekend trip to Palm Springs for the weekend! It is so lovely to hear of an owner sharing good fortune and showing appreciation for its staff. The service could not have been better. Upon seating us, several wait staff began serving YUMMY garlic knots and water. While waiting for our son and grandson to join us, we each enjoyed a glass of wine. Our entrees came out in very reasonable time (even brought out our 3 yr old grandson´s pizza a little earlier than ours which kept him happy and occupied! Hubby and I enjoyed the butternut squash vegan ravioli which were heavenly! Our waiter was very kind and attentive (but not intrusive! Our son ordered a chicken parm which he thoroughly enjoyed. In the past he had enjoyed takeout from Ma´s but had never ¨dined-in.¨ We all agreed we would be back, SOON!!

great place! I have dined in a few times and I command to take from here frequently and it is a great experience both gone. When I dine in them, they are always very tailored to the guests' needs, although most of the time are very busy. their take-out it always good and many of the pastas travel well for it. if they make a mistake, they do what they can do to fix it - I had once false element of the takeout, but they literally sent someone to my building to give me the right element and I just had to grab it. beautiful place with ugly good owners and/or management on the basis of the consistency of my experience.

Very neat house with warm vibes. Service is good, reservation is required before. I had Butterscotch Budino, garlic bread Penne Arrabiata. Pleasure to say I liked eating here but pasta leaves much to be desired. First, the portion size is large enough for 2 people, secondly, olives in the plate are bitter and ruined the taste. And pasta sauce on the tangy side as sharp. Apart from that, garlic bread was really good, one of the best garlic bread I had. Desert was sweet, soft salty, which was beautiful.

I loved this restaurant, the food is very good and the service that our waiter Edgar gave us was the best. Highly recommended and very grateful for the care provided.
