Masa Sushi Japanese Grill

MASA has been our date night restaurant for about a year now and they never disappoint! Food wise that is, they're a little short staffed atm so the food's wait CAN be up to 45min depending on what you order and if it's busy. I always start off w spring rolls and every time they're fresh and crisp- I love it! Their sauces are tasteful including the salad dressing, which comes with almost all entrees. The rice is good and teriyaki dish is good! I recommend the Naruto soup, or how ever it's called, It's just so GOOD and filling, soupy yet creamy from all the ingredients. I tried Masa for the first time and ordered several rolls to go. I am SO pleased with everything about this experience. Everything was packaged up in a way that ensured it made it home without spilling (important for the Ichiban roll in particular . The staff were so friendly and helpful (and still wearing masks, THANK YOU! . Best of all, the rolls were beautiful and absolutely delicious. Wow! The food is delicious. I have had Japanese food all over the US and I will be coming back to Masa Sushi Bar! I cannot eat gluten and they were very helpful and accommodating. I had the Cowboy roll and the Salmon skin salad. Both were prepared beautifully. Portions were ample, as well. Pleasant atmosphere in a well kept restaurant.

I am so glad San Angelo has one good place for sushi! The level of detail in each roll , and plate, are truly something to admire. The drink menu will compliment any roll you choose. I recommend any of the sweet sakes with the cowboy roll (dragon design plate).

Everything we have was prime. Best sushi in San Angelo. The service was so great. Everybody was so polite and genuine. I accidentally broke a glass and they still treated me like family.
