We were there for the first time yesterday and were very disappointed. We had registered to celebrate a birthday. First we were given a loveless table right at the entrance. (Although it still had plenty of seats). The vegan no chicken tikka tasted like nothing. No real spices and boring. My husband's chicken tikka masala was bland. We went to Restaursnt Masala for dinner yesterday and ordered Chicken.Ticka Masala, Eggplant Curry and Garlic Naan. We couldn't eat both dishes! Both dishes were totally over salted! The chicken tika masala sauce wasn't good either. When we returned both dishes, they promised to cook us new dishes. When they came back a short time later, they asked us to try the dishes. But since we noticed that they were bringing us the same dishes again (and not bringing new dishes as promised), we rejected the dishes. Then they told us they would bring new dishes again. But we had had enough and just wanted to leave the restaurant. The waiter and boss apologized to us and we only had to pay for the drinks...
Das Essen war sehr lecker und echt indisch. Grosse Auswahl vegetarischer Speisen. Einmal Reis reicht locker für 2 Personen, auch das Naan probieren, super. Die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend. Auch für Gruppen geeignet jedoch etwas laut. Der Raum ist schön, vor allem die Wandmalerei.
Food was good to taste, not very costly for Swiss standards. A good Dinner for 8 adults and 2 kids costed us around 120 CHF. I think its worth the price for an Indian dinner in Zurich!
