We read the positive reviews about Masel Top and booked as a result. When we arrived we were given a large table for six right at the back of the restaurant and were promptly forgotten. It was 15 minutes and some frantic signalling to the...waiter before we got our drinks order in. Then when the food arrived, it was ages before our plates were cleared. No one asked us if the food was OK, (it was), and then no one asked us if we would like puddings. So we left. The maitre d, was standing by the door when we left and didn't even say goodbye. I used to go there years ago. It got worse. Untrained personnel, non set table (we barely got a glass, some cutlery and a chipped dish. Meager). Hummus was evidently supermarket stuff. The rest was decent, certainly not the good level one would expect in a...restaurant in the city center from a country with a good culinary culture. I had a special request (which I mentioned in the input field Special requests proposed by their oonline booking system) which got regularly ignored. They got one cutomer less, so they don 't have to bear the burden to keep those grumpy faces. Food culture is definitely else.
Not too far from the town centre, a couple of stops on the tram from Alexander Platz. We ordered seperate dishes, but many others ordered a meal set where they could try out a larger variety of the menu. We may do that next time,...but you need to be hungry. Our meals were really filling. Freshly prepared and with tastable spices, the chicken was my favourite. The tables are cosy and the restaurant is not flashy, more old fashoned. The desserts were fabulous, the house wine good.
The food is good and the Israeli cuisine once a nice change to the standard kitchens in Berlin. We found the prices a bit high, but we cannot make a comparison here, as this was our first time with Israeli cuisine, so this is more an emotional assessment. The staff is friendly and can also be used on Small Talk. Overall we felt comfortable here and would recommend the restaurant.

We had a great evening with very delicious Israeli dishes. The price was very good. The food came very fast and the service was also good! The location is very good and you can also sit outside very nice and without traffic noise. Thank you. We're definitely coming back.
We were quite curious about the Israeli food experience, but we left very disappointed. The food was very blend, not much flavors. Even Bbq was missing a 'thing ', not well cooked meat, half cold. We will not come back
Excellent food, I can only recommend. Whether fish, meat or vegetarians, all at a high level. I even let myself taste a dessert. Actually, I can do well without it, but that was so delicious that I was also delighted.
wonderful service, great food. taste of a chef restaurant at the highest level with personal and patient service. they can get a statement to any court and the court's in each language

The food here just makes me happy. It’s clearly made by people who love food. The puddings are dangerous (in a good way).
