Amazing pub! We knew it was going to be a great experience as soon as we walked in the door. The staff was quick to take our food order, even though the kitchen was about to close. They made sure we got the perfect table near the fireplace. The service was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure our evening meal was perfect. The steak they served us was incredible! We would recommend this place 10/5.
Today we arrived at the restaurant without a booking. As soon as we entered, everything was taken care of without any issues. A high chair was provided promptly. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. We will certainly be returning, and next time we will make a reservation. Thank you for a memorable lunch experience. Stayed here in the past when under previous owners always enjoyed it. This time just called in for lunch. I had the pie of the day (chicken and chorizo), it was very good, hot and tasty on a cold day and the chips were as good as any I've had. My wife had risotto and thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to our next visit.
We had an excellent experience at The Masons on our first visit. Andy, Mihaela, and Amy provided outstanding service, making us feel very welcome. We were extremely pleased with our choice of The Mason's Arms for our three-night stay. The staff was very accommodating and provided excellent service at the bar, restaurant, and during breakfast. The location was perfect for our trip to the Lake District and we would highly recommend it.
What a fantastic pub and dining experience! The staff was able to accommodate me on a busy Saturday night even though I didn't have a reservation. The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had, served in a beautiful setting with an incredible view. I highly recommend this place!
The pub was unexpectedly really nice as were the staff and the food I ate a mixed vegetable rice dish which was excellent, followed by a small sweet equally good Lots of parking and inside and outside tables. It sits on the edge of a bank with extensive views. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing meal! My son had the burger, my husband had chicken and I had fish pie. All were delicious and the desserts the same.service was friendly without being “in your face”. Will definitely return one day and would recommend.
