I have frequented this restaurant many times, however the main issue I have encountered is the overcrowding of tables and chairs in a small space. During my last visit, I had a very uncomfortable experience. I brought my son as a treat during the school holidays and the servers were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I felt uneasy as the man I assumed to be the owner stared at me constantly, which made me self-conscious and disturbed. I have not returned since and have no intention of doing so if I am going to be stared at in such a manner.
My first visit to this restaurant was in December. The overall impression of the place was that it had seen better days. The most off-putting aspect was the sticky film that seemed to cover every surface. We switched tables twice, but unfortunately, the sticky film was still present. Even the banister rail had a sticky residue on it. The staff were very inattentive, more focused on chatting with friends rather than serving customers. It took a long time to be served. Despite all of this, the restrooms were cleaner than the dining tables.
I frequently visit this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or snacks. I always feel welcome, the staff is very friendly, and the food is great. The Sunday roasts are amazing, with fresh vegetables and superb meat. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and children are always welcome. I suggest booking a table for Sunday lunch to avoid disappointment.
what great value for money.have been there 2 days on the trot for breakfast.will go back for lunch in near future.happy pleasant cafe,nothing too much trouble.only one drawback toilets are upstairs.go try it for yourselves.because I would thoroughly recommend Masons

Really nice quaint cafe with a good choice of food! Different location in town to most restaurants and it's really nice. Food is always served piping hot looking very delicious. Love this place!
Lovely tasty food and plenty of it. Service is prompt and friendly whilst being polite. Food served quickly for saying it’s fresh cooked. Would certainly return. Also reasonably priced.
An excellent cafe open for breakfast, lunch and early afternoon tea. Friendly and reasonable. Good place to meet friends.
You will always get a good meal here from breakfast to lunch and Sunday dinners. Good value and excellent friendly staff
