Match - Reserva de mesa

Match may have a lot of positive reviews but our experience was not so. I’ll start with the ambience: it’s loud. If you’re looking for a place for a pleasant family dinner, this is not going to be it. While fun, my family and I felt quite anxious sitting inside with all the shouting and screaming around. You cannot have a conversation inside. The outdoor seating is definitely better for this, but lacks a cohesive ambience and feels almost more like you’re sitting at a decorated picnic table. No candles, lacking table settings and more. We had to keep asking for things (table settings, water, etc) sitting outside. Food also took a long time. The main part of any restaurant though is the food....

Great food! Crab cake was to die for. Truly a testament to the New England seafood genre. My companion had the octopus that was very flavorful and ingrained deeply with the flavor of the wood burning oven( which may I add give more to the ambiance . The only thing better than the food was the company, and thats not too bad by all standards :

We had an excellent meal at Match. The service was excellent, especially when they were able to provide us with a bigger table before we ordered. The food was fantastic not a single complaint from 5 different people.

Almost 15 years later or more and still on point amazing delectable food. Great service nice atmosphere so glad we were able to spend our 18th anniversary there

If you like truffles and oysters the Carpetbaggers are a must. Their menu changes often and never disappoints.
