This restaurant is a lovely spot with a cozy and well-lit atmosphere. It may be small, but most people opt for takeout, so there is usually plenty of space inside. My go-to order is the cod and chips with mushy peas, paired with a Tango Orange soda. The cod and chips never disappoint - the chips are perfectly soggy when drizzled with salt and vinegar, which I find delicious. The fish is flaky and well-fried, and the peas are a tasty addition. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making it a place I would highly recommend to my friends over other fish and chips restaurants I've tried.

I’ve been coming here for years with my elderly mother and we’ve always loved the food and service. The decor has recently been taken up a notch and looks stunning yet charming, the ambience is very cosy and relaxed which is perfect for a family or for couples. Definitely recommend to all especially elderly mothers who are not easy to please!!

I absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the standard cod and chips, and it was extremely delicious. The portion size was generous and satisfying. The dining experience was excellent, with the owner warmly welcoming us and making us feel right at home.

We decided to go here for valentines day and eat in. Sitting area was lovely, staff very friendly and of course the food was amazing. We can't wait to go back! Best fish and chips I've been to! We went with our 8 year old son and he of course loved it too.

This is hands down the best fish and chip restaurant in the London area. I cannot recommend Young's enough. You will not be disappointed when you dine here. The fish is always freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. It is definitely worth the trip.

This venue is still very popular With seating for 30 in side and 10 outside Its cosy interior invites you in . Open from 11.30am till 9.30pm most days With a lunch brake from 2 30pm to 5pm when shut . A children's menu is offered at £5

We love Matheou’s, since finding this place we’ve come every Wednesday. We come back for the food and of course the amazing decor. This place feels so homely and comforting and the staff are kind and helpful.

since 2017 here. new newly renovated facility. cozy atmosphere and especially brilliant service. Eating is best. classic fish and chips cooked perfectly and not where else tastes better.

Great service, lovely cooked fish and chips, large portions. Friendly atmosphere is a great place for lunch. No parking but waitrose is across the road and you can park there.

This restaurant is fantastic. Fish, chips and chicken nuggets were fried in an excellent condition. We had a great dinner with our family.
