a beautiful place, the ambiente was cozy and well lit. instead of small, but most people take out anyway, so there is always space inside. I always order the cod and chips with muddy heap together with a tango orange. the cod and chips never disappoint, the chips are soggy when they are coated with salt and vinegar, which I think is excellent. the fish was broken and well fried and the peas were delicious. the workers here are very pleasant and very welcoming, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends about most other cajau and chips restaurants I was!

this is the best fish and chip restaurant/shop around the london area, I can simply not rate these youngs enough and they will not be disappointed when they eat there, the fish is always freshly cooked, only mouthwater, definitiw the trip worth.

This venue is still very popular With seating for 30 in side and 10 outside Its cosy interior invites you in . Open from 11.30am till 9.30pm most days With a lunch brake from 2 30pm to 5pm when shut . A children's menu is offered at £5

absolutely loved the experience here. I went with the standard cod and chips and it was very delicious. the part was large and filled. eating in experience was great, the owner welcomed us very lovingly and made us feel like home.

We love Matheou’s, since finding this place we’ve come every Wednesday. We come back for the food and of course the amazing decor. This place feels so homely and comforting and the staff are kind and helpful.
