The exterior could use some work, but I personally will eat anywhere if the food is good enough and doesn’t have maggots in it. So, what’s the food like, then?I got a sandwich and something else, I wish I could remember what it’s called. The sandwich wasn’t special, but it was nice. The chicken went along perfectly with the bread. There’s better food out there, but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from here again if I was hungry and nearby. This part of the experience didn’t affect my rating, but the cashier could not tell my gender. I watched as she stumbled and struggled picking between he, she, and they. I know I’m pretty, but I am in fact, a man.

It took me so many years to finally try this place, but I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere is so cute and quaint, nice for a sit down lunch. The sandwiches are huge and worth the cost, made with the most delicious bread and packed with high quality meats and veggies. The knishes are excellent too, highly recommended! Delicious baked goods as well. We loved the oatmeal raisin cookies and carrot cake. Super friendly service too!

I first tried Mati's in 1994 while working on Monroe in Dearborn. To this day, Mati's serves the best sandwiches I've ever had, especially the Goodbye Charlie (Tuna). Parking is limited but manageable. Wheelchair accessibility is good with plenty of street parking and no stairs. There is a patio area outside for dining as well.

I always evaluate restaurants based on their Rueben sandwich, and this one was just okay. The sauerkraut and corned beef were both dry, but the bread was toasted perfectly. The "Russian dressing" was made with Miracle Whip, which was disappointing. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was great! I got the Jerry’s Club, with chips, and a water. Good area and plenty of spaces to sit outside and inside. Only issue is the wait time on the food but that comes with making fresh food.

This sandwich place has been my favorite for years. Even though I no longer live nearby, whenever I am in the area, I always make sure to stop here. The sandwiches are huge and delicious.

Clean and friendly environment with great nostalgic atmosphere and even better sandwiches. Dietary restrictions: Were accommodating and knowledgeable about items with dairy.

Can’t believe they charged me extra for lettuce and tomato on my sandwich. Wow.
