Matsu Japanese Restaurant is a small, charming, and spotless spot tucked at the end of a strip mall. They offer fresh dishes alongside friendly service, with a detailed menu that explains each sushi item. I love being able to read about and discover new dishes, knowing exactly what I’m ordering. The welcoming atmosphere makes me want to come back often. Although the prices are a bit high, the quality truly warrants the expense. It’s definitely a place worth checking out.
We have eaten here one time before and it was good so we tried it again last night. All of the sushi was fresh and the presentation was good as well. We tried a few different bottles of sake and both were very good. We ultimately had the sushi boat as our main course and my gosh was that a lot of food. The menu said that it's enough for 2 people but all four of us ate from it and we had some left at the end. Of course, we had some sushi appetizers as well so we may have
I ordered sashimi for takeout from Matsu. We got the Sashimi Regular and tekkadon, and the fish was fresh and delicious. Both dishes came with miso soup and salad, with the miso being the best I've ever had. The ginger dressing was also tasty. Additionally, the waitress' kimono was cute and unique. I will definitely be back to dine in someday.
I visit this unique place every few days as I like the good air that is unique to this place. The staff is very friendly and well trained. The service is exceptionally fast. The food was incredible! We arrived from out of town and ended up here. We ordered the noodles and beef teriyaki, and the beef was fresh and fantastic. The appetizers were also excellent. To top it all off, we enjoyed the mango mochi, which was wonderful as well. The service was great too. Thank you, everyone!
This place is fantastic! As sushi enthusiasts, we were excited to find this restaurant near BWI. The sushi was exceptionally fresh, offering a broad selection of choices. The menu design is unique, and they even serve nigori sake, which we love.
I always have a wonderful dining experience here. The staff is incredibly friendly, and their sushi is outstanding, with a wide variety of rolls to choose from. I make a point to stop by whenever I'm traveling from out of town.

The food is excellent, best Japanese cuisine in the Baltimore area. Well worth the trip to Linthicum Heights.
