Overall rating: price for food/drinks as a whole is the price of food/drinks at Mattoni’s very good. the portion sizes are very large and worth what they pay. drinks are however somewhat on the more expensive side, but is not a big problem! service speed: on this day the service speed was good. the main front of the house was great and the team there was really respectful, very good talented and polite. the service we received from our waiter was fantastic. Food quality: the overall quality of my food was great and high quality. our group tried a large selection of drinks and dips during our visit. everything was good and everything was very tasteful. no complaints from members of our party....
I have been 3 times now, and have reserved a review until I could get a proper feel for the place. In my opinion the best way to put it was average. I was expecting amazing things and each time returning thinking it must have been an off day last time, but no.. same quality each time and it seems average, limited menu and quite bland food? The waiting staff were very good I must say and very attentive. Atmosphere and decoration was great. My wife and I came here to celebrate her birthday. We had a wonderful meal with fresh and flavorful food. My wife even had to take home the leftovers of her pizza because it was so good! The staff were very friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We will definitely be returning in the future!
This restaurant is absolutely delightful, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We ordered a meal for our child right away because he was hungry, and the food came out quickly and was delicious. The kids' menu portions were surprisingly generous and definitely worth the price. We will definitely be returning.

As always was a lovely visit with my family. After talking highly of them they was all so pleased with the lovely food we had. Lots of compliments from us for the wonderful roast dinner! Super atmosphere and super welcoming and attentive staff members too! Would recommend it to all.
A large number of the family attended for a celebration and we were certainly not disappointed. The food, staff and customer service was simply fantastic! We visit the restaurant on a regular basis and the team never disappoint. Highly recommended!
What a great surprise. To find this quality Italian restaurant in a village off the A47 is unbelievable. My prawn pasta was as good as anywhere I've been in Italy. Simple as that. You must go.
My partner and I always choose this restaurant for our date nights. The food and ambiance are exceptional, the staff is wonderful, and the dishes are absolutely delicious.

We had a wonderful evening on Friday evening, food cocktails were all wonderful. My starter would have fed a family! We will be back.
Just had a family meal here and all I can say is totally tasteless, the lasagne may just as well been a slab of melted bland cheese
