Maud's Ice Cream Parlour

Having called into this particular Mauds I was greeted by one of the rudest staff members I have ever encountered. I waited patiently outside the store for a large party of 7 to be served. This took quite some time as they were deep in conversation with the member of staff so I called into the shop next door to let the queue settle. When I went back to Mauds there was one lady in the store with a small child and when I walked in I was immediately and aggressively told to wait outside because the store was at capacity. Terrible service! We ordered almost £30 worth of ice cream and sweets only to be told they only take cash! Why would a business not take cash A- especially in COVID times! The member of staff was extremely rude and dismissive. Bank machine opposite wasn’t working. Won’t go back.

Hard to beat the ice cream. Long queues, orderly though. . Not very pleasant to sit in for coffee. Winter time could be better for the queues. Stop off here if you are passing through Carrickfergus.

It's Mauds Ice Cream. No words necessary. Covid safe and all catered for. Poor Bear and Choccy bear are still top of the list, though Rocky Road is catching up

Love it staff so nice cheap good service thanks a lot mauds it was so enjoyable I would definitely be going back
