We visited Maureens on a busy holiday (Juneteenth) and were seated at the bar within ten minutes. The food was home cooked and delicious, with large portions just as expected for breakfast. The service had an old school diner style and was very friendly. The coffee was good and the atmosphere was filled with cow decorations. Maureens has been a staple in Central Suffolk for years and if you're looking for breakfast in the Smithtown area, this is the place to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
The best oatmeal in the world, without a doubt. The staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I have read a few reviews mentioning that non-white customers are not treated well there, but in my experience as a first-time visitor, I did not encounter any negativity. I am from Pakistan and everyone, both staff and customers, made me feel welcome and accommodated.
The breakfast at this Long Island restaurant is absolutely the best around. The daily specials are delicious and everything is always prepared perfectly. Be prepared to wait, especially on weekends, as they only accept cash and do not take reservations. But after just one bite, you'll see that the wait is definitely worth it.

This restaurant is overrated and doesn't live up to the hype. The portions are small, and the food quality is lacking—it's just a collection of gimmicky dishes. I can prepare better meals at home and I won't be coming back. The wait was too long and the prices are too high.
