first experience in the rather disappointing maurice. pleasant room and attentive service that can be a bit in a hurry. If the special oysters were excellent, some were not in the caliber and that is not very correct. the lamb is presented as what, the uncut ribs, very difficult not to slaughter the meat. the pistachio corsed juice was completely dry. creamy calf rakes are served generously, but a part was not cooked enough, and the cream was rather "heavy". the two dishes were accompanied by a gratin of totally insipid potatoes. We were really disappointed, and we thought we would appreciate the majority of opinions, and that was not the case. Too bad.
Extremely slow service, 1 hr 30 min to first course and food really was not great, overcooked in many areas and things starting to not be managed properly, e.g. no toilet paper, no lights in bathroom, wrong order sent to our table, other tables served first but arrived after. I was not impressed.
Lovely setting and environment but the food was awful. Tough steak and over cooked chipped potatoes. Service average after delayed start and forgot coffee. Billed of course but removed when informed. Such a choice of restaurants we won’t be back!!
We arrived on a hot day after a long journey and an early start and found our perfect antidote. The staff were friendly and very attentive making you feel very welcome. We ordered seafood, which was excellent and of the best quality.

It's hearty, not very expensive and it's not bad, but on the whole it's very ordinary. without any gustative interest. the parking lot of my town hall is right next door, which is a good point
original and refined dishes. listening staff and competent. not to miss the dessert "Maurice creation" with its unexpected flavors. a very good address for poitiers.
good brewery with choice in city center. reception and impeccable service. correct and rather copied dishes.
