Maurizios Pizzeria Italian Grille

Neighbors keep reccommending this place so ive tried 3 times already and been disappointed every time. Twice ive gotten surprise pork in my meals- once on a shrimp scampi pizza that they used sausage instead of shrimp, and more recently in the Pasta et Fagioli soup, which is very very often vegetarian. The menu says only that it 's an Italian Pasta and Bean soup, so was not expecting bacon. With the mistake pizza i was given the proper replacement, but no comp. With the soup, not even an apology. The food ive gotten that was correct has just been ok. Luigi 's in Neptune, Serpico 's in Allenhurst, and Rizzo 's in Ocean are all far superior in quality and in customer service.

We were visiting a friend and she suggested Maurizio's. Heard the area wasn't great but i didn't notice anything. The food, however, was great. There are MANY varieties of pizza and the pies are HUGE (24 I think). I had a BBQ slice and the chicken parm on a giant garlic knot. Very good. The seating area was clean and inviting so we sat in the back to eat. Really good experience and if we're over there again I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Fantastic, gigantic slices! Maurizio's consistently delivers excellent service and quality. They always offer large slices at reasonable prices. The only concern might be that your eyes might be bigger than your stomach, given the generous portions. Their grandma-style pizzas are also delicious and quite hearty!

Finally came here a few weeks ago and don’t regret it! They have MASSIVE gourmet slices! But they are thin, so you are not just filling up on dough, but more on the cheesy goodness and all the toppings. Very pleased with my experience and will definitely be going back again! Reserva una mesa ahora

The pizza here is amazing! It took me four years to discover a good pizzeria in the area! My only complaint is that it’s not closer to my home. However, I’m more than happy to drive 15 minutes for such delicious pizza!

This is one of the best, if not THE BEST, pizza places in the area. The staff are always friendly and cheerful, and the food is both delicious and reasonably priced. It's the perfect spot for a lunch or dinner break!
