Maurya East Indian Roti

Wish I had visited sooner! Lovely little local shop that has been in the neighbourhood for years the staff were wonderfully patient in explaining the different types of sauces and curries. Ordered a mild butter chicken, a medium traditionalshrimp curry, 2 rotis and 3 fresh veggie samosas. I'm not qualified to comment on whether or not they're authentic, but my wifeand I both found it all delicious (she particularly enjoyed the traditional shrimp curry). We both adored the samosas, whichwere crispy, packed with fillings, and very reasonably priced (they weren't too oily either). We will certainly be back (willtry one of the ones with coconut cream next time).

The worst food I’ve had in quite some time. Butter chicken arrived and I knew it’d be terrible. Paneer horrible as well. Watered down and zero flavour whatsoever. How can you be proud to send that garbage out for delivery and charge what you do?Photo on app show the vibrant colours of herbs/spices etc. the garlic naan were basically pieces of plain tortillas. Justdisgusting. Charge .99 or 1.29 like Wendy’s and you’re fine to offer this junk.

The Samosa chaat was delicious with the perfect balance of tamarind, yogurt, and spices in the samosa. The portion size was also generous. The Chicken biryani was spicier than expected, even though I ordered it medium spicy. The portion size was good and the taste was decent. I will definitely be ordering the Samosa chaat again.

We had the butter chicken roti and I feel it was probably one of the best we have had. The roti was fresh and so was the butter chicken. Navjot, the lady who made it for us was very polite and obviously a great chef! We will definitely visit again as it's hard to find good roti that is fresh and delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora

Amazing finger licking food! They customize spice levels to your requirement, and how they nail it! The taste is so sumptuous and droolworthy, a must visit to anyone who loves Indian food. We all thought it is a discovery and we would definitely be coming back!

Recently tried few items here. Butter chicken and saag paneer were amazingly delicious. I tried them with both rice and roti both combinations was great. Roti was fresh and tasty. It's rare to find authentic taste in every item.

The most tasteless food I've ever tried. And their prices are very high! I got a vegg curry on a bed of rice for 17$ There is no flavor Mostly rice Hardly any vegetables Terrible taste! I'm amazed their in business on Bayview!

The lamb korma poutine was very good: 5/5 but the chicken tikka and chicken biryani felt flat: 2.5/5. Maybe we asked them to cook non spicy and some key ingredients are omitted. Customer service was good. Reserva una mesa ahora

Shared a Chicken Madras roti with medium heat level and veggie pakora. The Roti was delicious! Spice level is a 6 out of 10. Great flavour. The veggie pakora were overdone, but the Roti made up for it!

A really good Indian restaurant in the area. Highly recommended for Rumali Roti and Roti wraps. Butter chicken is the best and you can adjust the spice level ?? will definitely order again ?
