Took my daughters and their friend for a birthday celebration at the Carindale store. While expensive the food and drinks were fantastic. Where they have let themselves down is their cleanliness, specially the tables. When we arrived my wife ordered and I had clean a...table for 5 of us to sit at. I took a photo of the dirty tables around me at 13:32. I took the same photo and 14:10 when we left, tables still not cleared. On another table some food and rubbish fallen on the floor and I watched 3 staff members walk past it, one of them 4 times. Looked forward to visiting the new Max Brenner in Toombul. Unfortunately won't be returning. Despite being 2 of only 6 customers the service was painfully slow. My daughter and I stood at the counter for a few minutes before we were noticed by one of...the 4 staff. Despite having vouchers for free chocolate licks We were charged for them and were given ruby instead of milk chocolate. The coffee was burnt and bitter and we had finished eating before we got the coffee. Please lift your game....there are some great Max Brenners around Brisbane and some great places to eat and drink at Upstairs Toombul. I understand now why this place is empty so much of the time since it opened recently.
Max Brenner Carindale is the best! I went there to celebrate Valentine's Day with my friend last weekend and it was honestly such a great experience. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the food was amazing! So fresh and perfect!... The lady who served us was Kyah and she was honestly so great. She helped us decide from the wide selection of chocolate deserts and her advice was great. We decided to share plate and two hot chocolates. The food came out quickly and tasted amazingly, melt in our mouth. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back!

I called in just for a cold drink but the staff were so friendly and helpful with their assistance that I ended up having one of their Tutti-Frutti Waffles which came with strawberries, bananas and ice cream. It was delicious. I also ordered the milk...chocholate shake which was probably too much but I enjoyed everything. Slightly overpriced but for a once in a while treat it is worth a visit.
Expensive, slow, cold and ordinary tasting. This gives you the impression that you will be thrilled with you $6.20 hot chocolate. I wasn’t.

Terrible. Very few customers dirty because of the place. We ordered 2 milk hot chocolates and you came in a dirty chip cup.
