Maxi Chicoutimi Barrette

Honestly, it's one of the worst, if not THE worst food market for any banner I've been to. Maxi from Chicoutimi corner Barrette and Talbot. First the carts are locked and it takes a dollar coin to unlock it but I didn't have one on me. At the reception I was told that I had to buy a non-refundable token which allows me to have a basket. What a lovely welcome on leaving. The displays are unattractive and it is very difficult to find what you are looking for. Most of the flyer specials were no longer available on Sunday. Automated checkouts are designed for very small quantities and the space for storing scanned items quickly becomes full. Out of 4 cane products, 2 were bumpy. In addition ther...

It's a shame it's one of my favorite grocery stores, but some employees are nonchalant towards customers and make a lot of mistakes that impact the quality of the products on sale or the prices indicated. The managers are clearly not examples to follow, they don't even bother to try to listen to us or come to see us when we have a problem or tell us that it's not their fault and that it's not It's not their problem... like what working as a manager at Maxi does not require any particular qualification. Certainly the reason why they hire anyone and anything. If management sucks, store operations will unfortunately reflect that.

Not bad ... but sometimes some cashiers don't have an easy smile ... I understand that they sometimes have their share of problems but only a thank you sometimes would be good for the customers!!!!

Meh! It's ok I guess but cashiers are always rude and weird. Food is usually 50/50 good quality or gross and destroyed inside so there is the unbeatable price.

It's a nice place to shop. Everything you need at reasonable prices. For those that may know, it's basically a No Frills in Quebec.
