The food wasn't bad. Only that our server forgot to put in an order- crispy pata.. something that was discussed with him and he even gave a suggestion on what size we should get. He brought in the rest of the order sans the pata. When asked he said it's coming up. Then he came back and said it'll be another 15 minutes. Meanwhile, we're digging in because we were starving. Another 10 minutes later, we're all almost done to the point of asking them to just cancel it- he brings it in. When we cut it apart, it was cold to the touch in the middle. It was so so disappointing.

Unfortunately, Max's is being renovated which detracts from the ambience. But when it's done, the place will be great. Decent number of parking spots. Two of us had no trouble on a Thursday evening at 6:30. When we left around 7:45, the place was packed to capacity with people waiting. Everyone except us seemed to be of Pinoy heritage. We tried a variety of dishes including Nilagang Baka, Garlic Rice, a curry with beef and peanut, a fried fish, and steamed roll appetizers (sorry I don't have a menu handy), and a tapioca drink. I liked the Nilagang Baka best.

They had a construction going on inside the restaurant. I asked what the smell was and they said it’s the wood! There was total lack of ambience as the place was cramped and it smelled like old wood. Only the fried chicken was good but all the other dishes we ordered were not delicious: adobong manok , tilapia with Laing, daing sisig, chopsuey. We had guests from NY and we all agreed that Gerry’s Grill overall was much better. Gerry’s Grill had more choices and far better ambiance.

Came in after a very long time. They have renovated the place and it Is so much brighter and spacious! Ordered their famous fried chicken and it delivered! Of course halo-halo for dessert is a must. Our daughter wanted fried chicken for her bday- so this is the best choice. They gave her a nice treat- a scoop of coconut ice cream with a candle and they sang her a bday song complete with an “Instagram “ board for picture taking! Service is prompt and delivered with a smile. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great ambiance, good food except for the sisig, was not very impressed with it. But the crisp pata was the best I’ve tasted so far! And the sinigang Bantus belly was also good!! Only complain is parking, very limited space and why do we have to pay for parking? It should be free since we are eating at the restaurant! Doesn’t make sense to me.

Came from the east coast to visit family. It is a fun place for a get together. The wait staff was very attentive to our dietary needs and so very friendly and nice. The food was great although I wouldn’t consider it “healthy.” It was the first time trying Ube ice cream and it was AMAZING! Will definitely go back next visit.

I made a reservation for last night Nov 19 and after driving 2 hours through rush hour traffic I found they were closed. Why was I allowed to make a reservation?? Such a disappointment and so aggravated

Our server was great! But another showed horrible customer service. I’ve been loyal to this restaurant for more than a decade and to see this was very disappointing to say the least. Reserva una mesa ahora
