Max's Seafood Cafe

I had the stuffed flounder. It was just ok. Nothing really special. The rice pilaf was mushy and over cooked like it was in a steamer all day My wife had the grilled seafood. The lobster was a fight to get out of the tail. Same rice and mixed seasonal vegetables. We’ve been here before but the quality has not maintained. It’s a great spot hidden and quaint

We took my dad for his birthday. Disappointed they were out of the lobster bisque. The food was good and service was excellent! Definitely would go back again! My dad thoroughly enjoyed the stuffed shrimp! And the cheesecake was delicious!

We really enjoyed our evening at Max’s. Daisy, our server, was awesome and the food was fantastic. It was a Friday night and there was a guitar player in the bar area, not a problem for us but something to be aware of if this bothers you.

Food was good but my wife ordered het filet mignon medium rare and it came out medium well. Waitress offered to take it back but it would have taken too long as my dinner was at our table.

The food is always amazing. My favorite Rockstar and wonderful Daisy always make me happy. Always a great experience. Thank you for getting it all so right!

We’ve ordered mussels in spicy red sauce for decades and it’s maintained it’s quality. Filet was tender. Chicken parm tasty and generous. Food excellent.
