My third love after Japanese and Peranakan cuisines is traditional Indian food and I am so glad I have finally found one at Maya Da Dhaba. Many Indian restaurants in Sydney are catered to conservative tastebuds and it is difficult to find one which caters for diners who wish for something heartier and richer in taste and flavour.
My girlfriend and I were lazy to dine out on a rainy night and we ordered a selection of Maya's intensely spicy cuisine and curries including their signature fish curry, chicken biryani and tandoori chicken. Best Indian in Sydney! The only reason I marked it down to 4.5 from 5 was the experience with Uber Eats who took excessively long to deliver the food and when it eventually showed up, the food had leaked all over the bags. We called to complain and Maya Da Dhaba handled the issue very well. That aside, the food was seriously good and cooked with love and not simply put through a soulless kitchen. Really good!!!
The korma at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! It felt authentic and was filled with love in its flavors. The naan and poppadoms were also tasty and mouthwatering. The Aloo Matar was decent, though very hot and spicy, but still carried delightful flavors. I will definitely be coming back for more of these delicious tastes.
the best chickens in sydney. tasting, prepared for perfection, super smokey and consistently delicious. the saagwala dishes are also brilliant, beautifully cooked lamb in the lamb saagwala. loves this restaurant. her chooza tikka is the gold standard for me when I eat chicken ktikka in sydney.

the Biryani was amazing, Ive never had lamb biryani before nor did I know the was a lamb biryani as well. Ive only heard of and seen the chicken biryani. it all was a tad expensive, but worth the price! it was delicious, authentic, naturally made and Incredibly filling and satisfying
The restaurant offers delicious dishes with bold flavors and large portions. Each dish is individually packaged in foil to keep it warm, and the bread basket is outstanding. The overall value for money is exceptional and I will definitely be ordering from here again.
The Butter Chicken was overly greasy and sweet. The Naan was soft and crispy, and very delicious. The Pappadams were crispy and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the green sauce was not flavorful. Also, the second side dish shown in the photo was missing.
Don't bother going to this place. They just don't do indian food Justice. It's over spiced and just awful. There are plenty more awesome indian eateries around. Thousand spices of maya in crowsnest to name a few.

Terrible customer service.
Had to wait for almost an hour for food after ordering. That too being the only customer at the place at that time.
The only place Ill order Indian from at the moment. Very generous serving for the price and the quality is so good! Highly recommend
