If you have to go to Mayfair to have a good time, go for a quiet 5 @ 7. The cocktails will be good and the food well-prepared. Impeccable service.On the other hand, if it is to club on a Saturday evening, it is better to show that you have the means to be properly taken care of! Something big in terms of hospitality and service. The cocktails are less good. It is regrettable for an interesting address!
Was my first visit on a Thursday evening, nice atmosphere. Starts filling up around 10 - 11. A DJ was playing good music. Did not find that the British Victorian theme stood out that much, but nice decor non the less. Cocktails are interesting and different, but I think they could have much more on the list for a place calls itself a cocktail bar. Very attentive service. Overall nice place.
We attended a good jazz concert, drank a good cocktail and ate tapas. The tapas took a long time to arrive but the waiter was very correct and offered us 2 free small cocktails with apologies. The atmosphere is very lounge and subdued. Jazz concerts take place every Tuesday, every other week they are tributes to great jazzmen. The ideal place for jazz lovers.
We got to the bar to get a table (there were 3 free) and were treated (probably because we had backpacks) like poor young students who wouldn't spend. So they refused to offer us tables, and forced us to go to the bar, indicating the door if that did not suit our business. The most haughty and elitist place I have seen in my life! Eager to test the place, I went there with hope to have great cocktails. I love good cocktails and I have a few excellent bartenders as friends. I tasted a Green Velvet and had a Martini made of London Gin N°3.. they were ok. Good, but I was expecting more from this kind of place. Setting is nice, friendly staff.
Small space, but very cozy. Drinks are excellent. Music is fun! Small dance area. Only strange thing is the staff removes all the chairs from the bar at around 11.. don't understand why. So we had no place to sit down.
Very good 2 pool table, several arcade machines (in our case it was free, 5 a 7 but I can not say for the normal time) good place for 5 a 7 company
