I would have given him 5 stars, but the service was somewhat slower than expected. it was a Thursday night, but the restaurant was well packed, which is a positive sign. we ordered fish and chip, the delicious was the fish was fat, but that is expected, and the fries were beautifully made and crispy and a santa fe hamburger. we chose a tweeper ring as a side part, but it was so dreadful and unpleasant. This place is an excellent place for a date. We had Open Table reservations and was seated right away. The service was awesome. We asked our waiter for recommendations on wine and he was very helpful. We also asked about several dishes and all of his recommendations were spot on. Overall we had an excellent date, meal, drinks, and experience.
The salmon entrée was absolutely delicious! It was cooked just as we requested. The mashed potatoes were also very good. One area for improvement would be to lower the temperature of the draft beer kegs. Most people prefer their beer ice cold, and I even had to add ice to my draft Stella Artois because it was nearly at room temperature.
It’s a pretty good restaurant to spend a night with your friends. We only had nachos with chicken and steak that was a huge plate and tasted great. But we received a poor service from the waitress, and it was disappointing.

Everything was wonderful! I had the steak and eggs with potatoes. I do have one suggestion: I ordered my steak medium well, but it came out well done. Despite that, it was still delicious!
Our visit to Mccray's Tavern was outstanding! The food was mouthwatering, and the ambiance was superb. This is definitely a spot my friends and I will be coming back to often.
Great server, fast service. Only negatives were the onion rings were under seasoned. Way too much batter on a small onion ring inside. And no flavor.
