I visited the San Augustine location at 8:45 PM last night and found myself in the drive-thru line, with three other cars behind me. Despite waiting, no one answered the intercom, so I decided to go to the window instead. Eventually, someone noticed me, but he was wearing headphones. He informed me that they were closed. I pointed out that the sign on the glass stated they were open until 11 PM. He responded that they don't adhere to that sign and close whenever they choose. I accepted this, but it’s worth mentioning that this isn’t typical of McDonald's service; this particular location seems to have some management issues.
I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. They were out of Dr Pepper, the Coke was flat, and they didn't have any tartar sauce for the fish sandwich. There was something else that I can't quite remember at the moment. The employees seemed indifferent, just shrugging their shoulders.
I would rate this place even lower if I could. I went through the drive-thru, and the woman on the intercom told my autistic son to be quiet, which I found very disrespectful. On top of that, she used profanity in front of my 4-year-old twins.
I was rather disappointed with my recent takeout experience. There was a sign indicating that the lobby was open for takeout, but when I tried to enter, I discovered that the doors were locked.

I found this McDonald's to be quite dirty and there were too many flies around. Although they did get my order correct, the fries were soggy and greasy. I wouldn't recommend this location!
The lobby was closed, despite the sign on the door indicating that takeout was available. Additionally, the drink I received was not the one I ordered.
They were so rushed that they didn't even get my order right. I only noticed it ten miles down the road.
Occasionally, there might be a small issue, but overall, it's just your typical McDonald's experience.

The restaurant should open the dining room so that truck drivers have a place to eat.
The food lacked freshness, and the service could benefit from some enhancements.
