We have been here several times in the past and not had any problems. However, this visit was marred by several things. I pressed select for a receipt, but none came. We sat and waited and after about 5 minutes our drinks were served in those horrid plastic beakers and the table number card was removed. Nothing was said, so we didn't know whether our order was incorrect or we just had to wait. A while later, our meals arrived. Everything was cold or lukewarm. I returned the potato dish and asked for another, which was provided 5 minutes after we had finished eating the mains. My burger had an extra serving of grease, which I couldn't mop up as we weren't given any serviettes until I went to the counter and asked. The toilets were disgusting. The staff were as pleasant as they should be. The meal cost around 50% more than the same meal in UK.
A few months ago when we went here, there was a long queue at the door as everybody was being checked for vaccinations. We didn't bother. On this occasion, it was a lot quieter. Again, there is a system whereby you take a plastic plinth and enter the number on the screen. Except there weren't any? A message saying there was no table service popped up. We sat down and were served at our table? All a tad confusing, but the meal was hot, particularly the potato wedges. First time we have tried them and not the last! There were notices saying the tables were wiped after every customer, but this clearly was incorrect as some had crumbs on them and no-one was cleaning.
