McDonald's - Reserva de mesa

First of all this one is beside an Ibis budget just off a roundabout and you feel as if you are driving into a back yard. The server was pretty pleasant. Now the downsides - you can only order via machine and you tell the machine where you will sit for table service. This isn't progress. If you want to pay cash the machine spits out a receipt or you can use plastic. Despite all this they still manage to serve up cold fries and lukewarm burgers. You can't easily personalise your food order either; extra onion, hold mayo, no ice etc. I rarely eat food in a Mc D. Mostly it's coffee, toilet and wifi. While most people would frown upon having breakfast or coffee at McCafe (let alone a McDonald's), my family and I are not ashamed to admit that we LOVE coming to this place. Coffee is excellent and served in generous portions. But most of all, service...is great. Most of the staff speak perfect English but since most McDonald's branches are now equipped with the easy order facility, one isn't even required to order in perfect or broken French anymore.

There are two other Mac's in Cherbourg which have to be better than this one. Convenient for the port, but the others would be too. It was not busy, but staff are very laid back and when our ordered arrived it was cold and we don't think the fries were cooked through. A terrible Mac's experience. There is a restaurant opposite which is open 7/7, which we will try next time - it would be hard pushed to be a worse experience anyway.

Usual McDonalds, usual staff, usual food, usual furniture, usual decor, usual beverages, usual cleanliness, usual temperature, usual everything. Only thing unusual was the french speaking staff, but, come to think of it, as it was in France, that would ne usual. Oh come, it's a...blinking McDonalds, what did you expect to read. Jeez. What you would expect from a McDonalds although there are a few extra’s. This restaurant has a children’s indoor play area and there is a separate coffee/cake shop. We skipped the usual McFlurry and opted for some decent coffee and Tiramisu. The place is ideal...if you have fussy eaters who are used to McDonald’s.

I know McDonalds fast food. Over here however far below their own standard. Grumpy personnel, even while its not that busy. All toilets closed except the disabled toilet which shows clear traces of s**t all around - not enjoyable. Quickly gone to never come back over here in this place.

The order by screen in your own language ensured that we received exactly what we ordered. A screen of instructions was complete in French??? The food we received was good. Generally clean and tidy. Toilets might be a little better, though not terrible.

Abrupted at McDonalds just outside the port of Cherbourg and ordered a great tasty meal. The car touch screen boards so loose a bit in the French translation, but we chose table service and our meals came fast and were delicious!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a very busy restaurant. Anytime I go here there are lots of people here. Food is the same as every other McDonalds.
