What can you say about McDonald's? This franchise is much like all of the rest. The new order system has helped a bit but it still makes me laugh that I wait just as long to get a coffee as I would if I where buying meals. After 7 years of patronage I can honestly say the service is faster during the day. This location is a 24 hour one and at night the service is hit and miss. I have gone in for a late purchase (say midnight) and waited inside or out for up to 20 minutes. (remember when MD's was a model of efficiency and speed? OK you have got to remember the 70s for that one) Mostly I would hold the managers accountable. The youngest ones seem to be the most in control. I have watched young...
I do love this McDonald's the best of all the McDonald's there're, the location the services the food it's simply outstanding, whether you go thru the drive thru, or you visit the restaurant, the food is always the best, in presentation temperature, the services is fast and all the staff works very efficiently, working with great dignity and integrity, and orders are done to perfection. The place always looks clean, the play room for the little ones is so exiting for the kids, and all the kids love the place and do enjoy them so though-roughly, and the parents got a first line view of the pleasure of the kids.The coffee is always hot and the food is always of superior quality, and the price...
Go to the drive thru, order 3 burgers, 3 fries, 2 pops.....nothing complicated, no special order requests. Get sent to park and wait for order. After 10 min they bring out the wrong order. I was in a hurry as I had to get my kids to an activity (that's why you do drive thru - to get quick food and run). I go inside to cancel order and first they have to figure out the order, figure out what to do about it, then wait for a till to be free (it's dinner time, they don't even have all tills open), I can't wait any longer, we're already late. I leave with no food and no refund. Good Job Mission!
Most of the visits here are fast in and out. Sometimes the staff seems indifferent , could not care if your order is taken in a timely matter. The over-all cleanliness of the establishment seems to have deteriorated in recent months. A lot of customers seem to remain there all day and at times, make it uncomfortable for other customers. Truthfully, I have tended to avoid going there for the past few months. Would be nice if it was straightened up.
I wouldn't ordinarily review McDonald's, as we don't go there very often, But I makean exception. The branch here is more efficient and attractive, with little kiosks whereyou can place your own order. We didn't use it, but an employee was attending, Explaining how it worked. I must recommend the grilled chicken sandwich 'country style'...it was excellent! Well done!
Aside from that, it's the usual McDonald's. Service is quite slow though...which seems normal in a h ick town like Mission. It's a good place to get a quick bite on the way to/from Harrison. Otherwise I would avoid eating in Mission if at all possible because the food and service is pretty bad in the city.
So many bad reviews; our trip here was efficient and the food was good....for McDonalds. We used the drive thru; it was fast and efficient. The staff was friendly and very patient as it took a while to order. The food was fine and, more importantly, the child was happy!
