I pulled into Macdondalds after a long shift that finished at midnight. I needed something quic k to eat on my way home. It took 5 minutes before someone could take an order in drive through, there reason the system was down, then proceeded to advise that it would only be cash only.It took 20 minutes waiting to finally get my order, if I could reverse out I would have.The car in front of me received the wrong order, which then took them ages to go and get there correct meal. In the mean time the order that they thought was for the car in front of me just sat there by the window going cold.By the time I got to the window the girl said is this your order as the system was down she did not have...
Three ladies of mature age out shopping decided to lunch at Maccas like our grandchildren do....ordered a chicken and salad wrap without mayo....with the chips and drink as a deal...bought back old memories of having to tell a 'porky pie' about being 'allergic' to mayo so that the staff would at least try to not put it on the wrap....no such worries here....friendly, efficient staff....helpful in the ordering process because as you may gather from my review....not a frequent diner at Mcdonalds....but you know maybe that is my loss....might try it a bit more often as there are plenty of options beside burgers and chips....coffee is very nice as well.......
we stopped for lunch here after arriving in Caloundra and with time to spare before checking into our hotel..the air-conditioning made it better to sit outside as it was to cold to sit inside we were given a number with the food to be brought out that never happened had to go looking for it and as per usual with most mc donalds i have visited the food was barely warm not hot i dont know how it goes from the counter to the table and ends up barely warm
We had two flight delays from Cairns. Didn't arrive into Caloundra until after 9pm midweek. McDonalds was the only place open to eat....even the RSL had closed their kitchen. Clean tidy and meals were hot and fresh - Thanks Macca's.

after staying in Caloundra for the weekend this place surprised at the end of our trip. the staff where so nice and even waled out our order didn't even call our number and the Café staff dropped our coffees to the table
This alternative choice in a fast food restaurant is worth trying as the meal is made to your choice and delivered to the right table. Gourmet burgers the taste is GREAT.
Is it just me or are all the meals getting smaller and not as tasty. I had the loaded fries and there was hardly anything in the box. Rubbish bins were overflowing.
The toilets are a disgrace, the windows and floors filthy, the food served with a grimace, a mess of grease and sauce, possibly the worst McDonalds in the country.

Good coffee, enjoyed with slice of Pineapple and coconut loaf, all served with a smile! Not too noisy, have to remember it's a busy place. Parking easy.
To Riffic service lovely people. Staff have always been helpful with me as I have a disability. They bring my orders out to me with no hassle
