fantastic eating and service. the chefs are friendly and always available when we have been there. they welcome you like old friends and look forward to seeing you. we have been enjoying for over a decade first-class meal at mcgarry’s and since we are native, they enjoy the next season, if less busy. the healed is fantastic when available. a beautiful mix of pacific northwest and local montana ingredients. in our recent visit we had the rather divine mushrooms. the Vietnamese spider attizer is a favorite that I ask every time sandy and the lemon drop martinis are the best. mcgarry’s is one of my favorite restaurants in the flathead valley!
We have visited McGarry's twice and have been equally impressed both times. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. The food is outstanding as well. If morels are in season, make sure to try the morel mushroom dish—it’s a must!
Our meals were both terrific! We had been here a few years ago, and were not impressed, so we were very pleasantly surprised by how great the food was. We had crab cakes, hanger steak and fish and chips all excellent. Our server was very attentive and made us feel welcome.
I had a good experience at the restaurant, although we did encounter some issues when trying to change our reservation. The owner seemed upset while explaining that each time we modified our reservation, it incurred costs for the restaurant.

Visiting Whitefish for the first time, McGarry;s was across the road from out B&B so we gave it a try the first night. It was so good we came back a second time later this week. Great menu selections and wonderful service.
The service at McGarry was excellent. After we received our entrées, the chef personally came to our table to refill our water glasses. Everyone was very friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic.
Great wait staff team. Good recommendations about the menu and things to do in the area.
Great restaurant for the above 50 crowd with amazing food. Will definitely go again.
