This is a pure trade off between value and taste. The portions could feed two or three people. But it's still cafeteria food. Green beans were overcooked and flavorless. Mac and cheese was extremely cheesy a good thing! but the Mac was overcooked. At least not gelatinous, though. Meanwhile, the lasagna was almost indistinguishable from the sauce it was so soft. If I could rate it zero stars, I would. WARNING to all who use debit/credit cards for purchase. I was charged twice for my food. When I discovered the error on my bank statement, I took the information along with my receipt which I still had to MCL Restaurant Bakery Whitehall. The manager basically ignored my complaint, said it was my bank's fault and offered no solution to either a refund or credit. I called my bank while in their parking lot and was told that they tried to swipe my card 4 times and 2 of times was able to get authorization. Had a great dinner with my wife here. We 've been going here for several years, but hadn 't been there for a while. Food choices were great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Not much of a crowd either. Went right in, got through the line quickly, and got a cozy table. Great date night dinner. We made our own dessert after we got home.?

The food here is absolutely delicious. The bakery items are wonderful and even if you eat in you can take things home. Prices are high here but worth it. Staff are kind and will assist you with carrying your tray to your table and removing plates and things. We are never disappointed when we go here.
