McLeod House Tea Room

I was there for dinner on Saturday, our reservation was for 5 pm. When we went to order from the 5 entrees available we were told 2 were unavailable at this time. So we ordered the steak which was literally a steak and baked potato with no vegetable or side or even a piece of parsley to make it look like it wasn't just a sad piece of steak and a potato. My guest ordered the chicken bacon pasta and it was served with no sauce and a dry piece of bread. It was the most unappetizing meal for both of us that we both paid for in full with zero discount or even a follow up from the restaurant when we mentioned to them after the fact that it was an expensive meal for the nothing we got. Mother’s Day Brunch— The scones were tasty with lemon and jam that I used. The eggs Benedict was average. The ad stated all you can eat served à la carte however we had to request if we wanted more as opposed to our waitress stopping by to ask if we needed more of something. We were the last seating of the brunch times and they “ran out” of fruit. If the garden is not for customers to explore it would be better to have signage stating this. My family was spoken to in a very rude way when it could have been expressed in a less hostile manner and tone. Considering you are in the service industry you should check yourself the next time you are upset with your guests.

consistently excellent and great staff. I was more than once on the high tee, the readings, mothers day and only lunch. the best place in and around stonewall and winnipeg area. decadent desert. there is always something that buy in the upper-storey galleries and jewellery at the counter where they pay. irresistible and work the trip to stonewall. many great shops that are examined after lunch in the stone wall.

McLeod House is a lovely heritage home. We had a delicious lunch with generous proportions, served by friendly, personable staff. The gift shop was fun to explore and had many unique items to purchase. Definitely worth a visit when you're in beautiful Stonewall.

I've been looking for this in a tee room! great eating, wonderful tee, excellent service and ambiente. we will be back safely.
