Mcmenamins Sunnyside

Years ago, these places were good. NOT anymore. Now I remember why we quit frequenting them. Beers are basic at best. This location has been around forever. Not sure why. Menu items are horribly priced, portions are even worse and flavors were not good. Service, well she couldn't get 2 orders correct and didn't even apologize. Easier for anyone wanting a decent mean even to stay away. Will never go to another one of these places again.

Very uninviting experience, me and my girlfriend came here on a Friday night to enjoy a good meal and ended up standing and waiting to be greeted by someone for a good three minutes. Once we were finally greeted, we noticed a very intoxicated man sitting at the bar who challenged us to a staring contest. When we asked the waiter what she recommended for burgers she knew of nothing on the menu. Overall a pretty dry experience.

I had the soup, salad, and garlic bread. I'm not even joking it was the best salad and bread I've had in forever. I got the greens salad with goddess dressing, and the mushroom soup. I really liked the soup, but I can't ate too much dairy and it has sour cream. The cranberry margarita was refreshing and looked just like the cute pictures on the menu.

Sarah was a wonderful server. Always a smile, very friendly, and patient with a chatty person like me. The worst bar service ever. Seriously.. EVER. They chat with each other and totally ignore the customers at the bar. I felt like a burden when I tried to talk to any of them. 10/11/23, I arrived around 8:30pm. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Service was outstanding, Miles who waited on me is the reason I say that. Although the food was so-so, the burger was alright and I remember McMenamins having better fries back in the day.

Nice small cafe that is standard of McMenamins. Always great service, food selection of drinks. Food always fresh, service prompt with cheerful staffing
