My friends and I dined at this restaurant last night. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with both the food and service. The burgers and fries we ordered were all cold and extremely salty, making them inedible. The cheese and onion fries we ordered were soggy, salty, cold, and covered in bottled squeezy cheese, making it difficult to enjoy. The prices were also exorbitant, with £7.50 for the fries and £12.75 for a glass of wine. The servers simply dropped off our food without plates, and we had to ask for them. We had the worst experience we've ever had when ordering from Meat Liquor. Just see the photos. UberEats were to blame for the poor delivery service, but the restaurant served us complete garbage. Firstly the order took two hours which is inconceivable. The lady from the restaurant explained that they were waiting for an Uber driver to come but assured us that the food will be fresh. It was genuinely the worst burger we've ever had. Both meals were freezing upon arrival and the chicken burgers were both burnt batter with barely any chicken inside. The first time we ate here it was fantastic, could not fault any of it. However the second time 2/12/23. The service was terrible. We were seated on the ground floor.A menu finally arrived, after half a hour wait and my wife having to tell the staff. Also it was freezing. The food we ordered (Hotdog,dry and overcooked practically burnt. Onion rings ok but greasy same with the fried pickles. The fries were nice, but hey who can't cook a frozen chip. As an apology we got our two drinks for free and the service charge(What a joke) removed from our bill. Food was great, service meh. We were a big party to be fair but we did on request send in our order 24 hours before and it came on a tray, the wait staff didn’t help us k ow who’s was who’s. One of our party had to help our fetching drinks. The place I was sat was at the bottom of the stairs and it was a very cold. The burgers at this restaurant were delicious, although slightly smaller than what I'm used to at other places. I was disappointed that the sauce containers on the table were not fully stocked. The service was good and we enjoyed a nice lunch meal. The price per person was around £50-60 and overall I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 4 out of 5.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It may be a bit dark, but it is definitely worth a visit. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5 out of 5.
