Mecates Mexican In Hunt

Ate there several times in the past. Food was about average and price was good. Ate there tonight and I ordered 2 beef and bean burrito. with a side of beans.They brought 2 burritos no beans. I said something and the waiter told me that the beans were in the burrito. There was no beans in the burrito and the beef was really bland. I told the waiter and he said he would bring me beans. I told him to just forget it. My wifes quesadilla had a hot wrap but everything inside was cold. The iced tea was good. Think I'm done with that place

The food is beyond excellent! Everything new that I have tried has been amazing!! The portions of food you receive surpasses the price; you definitely receive more than your money's worth! As far as service, every single member of the staff are super amazing! They are always friendly, welcoming and treat us like family. We eat here at least once, if not twice, a week. This is our go-to for Mexican food in Huntington. We've only tried one other place here and while we loved their food, I didn't like the atmosphere as much. My husband works a lot of hours so it's nice to have a place where we can chat in a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. Mecates fits the bill.

We spotted this place from the highway and stopped in. Clean, comfortable place with good service. I really liked the tacos al pastor, and my son enjoyed the fajita quesadilla.I recommend starting with the queso fundido! Reserva una mesa ahora

ive never eaten here but i walk past it almost daily to work, and the smell lingering outside is DISGUSTING. the putrid odor almost burns my nostrils how do you let it get this bad.

Food was excellent with perfect portions. Some of the best queso we have had. Service was excellent they came to the table often to check on us.

Just celebrated my birthday here and it was a SURPRISE birthday party! Such a wonderful time and the taco bar and margaritas were delicious
