The ramen noodles here are truly outstanding! I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen with extra bamboo shoots, while my husband opted for the Pho Bo Vien. The broth of my ramen was incredibly flavorful, and the egg had the perfect consistency. The pork belly was also delicious. My husband enjoyed his pho, too; its broth is lighter and less thick, making it ideal for summer. The service was prompt, and our waiter was both friendly and well-informed, taking the time to explain each add-on. We will definitely be returning!
Love this place , they have very good ramen , their strawberry Boba is amazing, wish they still had the mango Boba! If you aren't a fan of mushrooms , try the mushrooms dumplings ! You CANT taste the mushrooms ! Thank me later and they are so good ,the sauce is usually a little heavy on the salt but it's still delicious ???? My good too is the chicken ramen , with no norior memna, and an extra egg ! Try it ! It doesn't cost much , between 2 people it could by in the $30 range!!
This restaurant offers good food and some vegan options. However, I'm not a fan of the lighting; it has a noticeable flicker that suggests cheap electrical equipment. It's not an ideal spot for a date, as the jittery lighting creates a distracting atmosphere that makes me want to leave. On the plus side, the food is decent and the service is excellent. I really hope the owners consider upgrading the lighting, as it definitely needs improvement.
We live an hour 1/2 away and Mecha has become our little annual tradition. The vibe is warm and comfy. Servers are on top of service. Great attention to detail. And the food…. Absolutely delicious. My wife is Vietnamese and commends the quality of the Pho! The tofu Bahn Mi was a pleasant surprise. I can’t state enough how much we love it here! Cheers!

Some of the best ramen I have ever had. I used the entire cup of chili oil because it was so good. Ordered extra ajitama eggs because they were incredible. The noodles, the broth, and every component was just stellar. Service was fantastic as well. They were kind and attentive. Got a sake flight and they were very knowledgeable.
Not bad but not astonishing. Fun place to meet up with friends. Haruki Ramen Izakaya is objectively better for food quality but is not right on Washington street. If you want to splurge then the boa is a nice appetizer at Mecha. Also has vegetarian options so good place if you are looking for vegetarian plates .
Went to the west Hartford one first and then this one, best restaurant ever. I am sure I left a 5 star review on the west Hartford one and said the same thing but their sauces are the best sauces I have ever had in my life. I would give it a millionstars if I could. Definitely makes your stomach happy.
The beef short rib pho was pretty good. Meat was flavorful and very tender. Broth was light and not oily, but wished it was a bit more rich with flavor. Thai iced tea was good and nicely balanced. Service was great too. Would definitely come here againto try the other dishes.

Great place, best ramen noodles in the area. Lots of seating including some tables outside, the waitress was very knowledgeable and gave really good recommendations. The vegetarian ramen was an excellent choice as well as all the steamed Baos.
Looove this place Mecha is always an awesome place to stop for lunch or dinner whenever friends and I are in SoNo. Highly recommend this place, especially the ramen and the bao buns!
