Here are the perks of this place: the design of this place is phenomenal. Every room and every sauna are held closely to the design concept. It 's literally beautiful and you will find lots of details to appreciate. We also really enjoyed the bistro upstairs where they served really delicous salads. The reason I 'm not giving it 5 stars is because of a couple things: 1) the outdoor pool and jacuzzi are not remotely as warm hot as they should be. 2) I don 't know about you, but after 20 minutes in a sauna, I don 't really need to visit another sauna. Coming from the USA, entering into the Mediterana, is kind of like a dream. It is located in a residential area outside of Koln, Germany. When you enter the co-ed locker rooms, you see very clean, upscale gym type club. It is co-ed, so seeing naked men, women, teens and children is common. Carrying a towel, you enter into Sauna paradise, indoor and outdoor pool, lounge chairs, bar and food area and more. It was interesting to see how friendly everyone was, people would chat in all areas, except for the saunas. We have been to several German saunas with themed attractions, but I would have to say this is the most elaborate I've seen to date. Especially loved one room in the Indian saunawelt with a large wading pool around a large fireplace. The attention to detail and ambiance is unbelievable! There is a wide range of rest areas, outdoor sunning lawns, and pools with varied temperatures (though they were all a bit tepid to my liking, with the exception of one. My German friend, however, thought all the pools were too warm! Had lunch at one of the cafes; food was great, service was attentive. Top marks on amenities, style, and an overall sense of calm!
Die Villa Verde ist zur Zeit außerhalb des Saunabereichs geöffnet. Von der Seeseite her kann man das Restaurant, nach telefonischer Reservierung, betreten. Schon der Empfang war außerordentlich freundlich. Wir wurden zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war außergewönlich kreativ zubereitet und schmeckte köstlich. Eine herausragende Küche, zu jeder Zeit ein erstklassiger, freundlicher und ausferksamer Service. Sonder- bzw. Extrawünsche werden vom Personal schnell und gerne entgegengenommen und von der Küche mit Liebe umgesetzt. Das Essen war super lecker und etwas Besonderes. Das Ambiente auf der Terrasse ist wie im Süden. Man kann es sich einfach richtig gut gehen lassen. Bitte macht weiter so wir kommen wieder.
Wir waren im letzten Jahr zwei Mal im Restaurant selbst und haben zwei Mal Essen geholt. Wir waren jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr gut, kreativ, lecker, gut abgeschmeckt und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist sehr angemessen. Es war wunderbar, machen Sie so weiter. Wir freuen uns auf neue Menus.
Fantastisches Take away-Angebot! Die Tuna Bowl ist absolut zu empfehlen und mega lecker, zu dem werden die Gerichte auch für die Abholung schön angerichtet in Palmblattgeschirr. Bin mega begeistert und sage DANKE für die Möglichkeit dieses momentanen Services!
