As much as the restaurant is situated in one of the most unorthodox locations one can imagine, it is by no means a reason to not visit Ali's venue. Equally, don't be put off by the fact that for the most part, Ali works on his own! On both those points, I harboured great misgivings about booking a table. I couldn't have been more wrong. Not only did the food arrive in a timely manner (there were approximately 8 other diners there at the time of our visit) and actually quicker than some other better manned restaurants I've been to but the food was delicious, freshly cooked and of a superbly highest quality! Ali greeted us warmly and escorted us to our table. The unassuming exterior of the building does not reflect the hidden gem that lies within. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was relaxed. You can bring your own alcohol, with soft drinks available for purchase and glasses provided. I highly recommend Ali's Mediterranean restaurant in Hereford. For starters, I had the mussels in sauce and dough balls, which were surprisingly delicious and generous. My partner, Rosie, enjoyed the hummus and dough balls. This is a gem of a restaurant, hidden away on an industrial estate, not your first choice for an evening out, but the food changes all of that! A wide choice on the menu and all cooked with so much flavour, we will definitely be returning, but it has raised a new dilemma? Do you order the same thing because it was so nice, or do you try something else? I wanted to mark it down because we couldn't buy wine to have with the meal, but that would b unfair as the food was worth more than a 5, Great restaurant, I look forward to coming back!
Visited this restaurant and really, really wanted to love this place! However, we went on a Saturday evening and we were mostly on our own in the cold restaurant while the owner and his young assistant concentrated on the delivery orders. After waiting for approx 45 minutes we were feeling seriously neglected. The food, when it eventually came was fine but the whole experience was lost really, which was a shame. Because of this, I wouldn’t go again or recommend it to anyone else.

The booking was for ten friends staying at The Premier Inn, Holmer to celebrate the wedding of a close friends daughter the following day. The choice of food is fantastic and also amazing value for money. Ali and his staff were all very friendly and we all had a great time. Everyone in our group commented on how great this place is and would certainly go back if the opportunity arises
Restaurant is on the outside of an industrial estate, out of the city centre, however the quality and taste of the food is lovely. Price of food is also reasonable. Plenty of customers, which is a good sign. Owner Ali, is an excellent chef and went round to each table to ensure everyone was happy. Only downside is the location, which is why I have given 4 stars.
I love this place and Ali is one of Hereford’s finest. Every time I go to Med I am never disappointed. The restaurant is clean with an open kitchen which is always nice. Value for money is really good and I have never had a bad dish served. Don’t let the location put you off!
The menu had a great selection and the meal we chose was delicious. Ali was very friendly and came over to chat with us. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return if I am ever in Hereford again. - Pauline from Cornwall

The food at this restaurant is consistently fantastic. Ali is an excellent host. Don't let the location next to an industrial site discourage you.
