Having been back to Germany for a vacation of four weeks, we just had to return for a dinner at Mediterraneo in Mainz because my wife and I loved this restaurant and its Mediterranean Cuisine from the very start. This time we met friends there...as well, having made a date with them for dinner, and again we loved our stay at Mediterraneo very very much. Excellent meals, nice selection of wines, the wonderful atmosphere and the absolutely friendly and competent service made our dinner to be one of the culinary highlights of our stay in Mainz. Llegó tarde en la noche, los domingos por la noche, los muchachos eran muy serviciales y no podían ser más útiles. Eran amables y acogedores, pedimos un entrante Bruschetta entre nosotros y un pan de ajo y cuatro pizzas de queso, todas eran preciosas y El ... El servicio fue el lugar. Los camareros estaban alertas y conscientes de cuando necesitábamos más bebidas, etc., recomendaría comer en este lugar, especialmente si se hospeda en algún lugar cerca del Best Western Hotel en el área de Wallstausse de Mainz.

Arrived late in the evening on a Sunday evening at 9.45pm,the guys were very accommodating and couldn't be any more helpful.They were friendly and welcoming in,we ordered a bruschetta starter between us and a garlic bread and four cheese pizza, all were lovely and the...service was spot on.The waiters were alert and aware of when we required more drinks etc.I would recommend eating at this place especially if you are staying anywhere near the Best Western Hotel in the Wallstrausse area of Mainz.

the evening dinner on Sunday night was exactly what we needed. the hired were very friendly, cheerful and helpful, although they could not have much English. they had an English menu that was 95% in line with the German one. the food was good. We were fascinated by the neighboring table ordering a pasta prepared at the table in a large cheese round with truffle puffs.

Sunday night dinner was just what we needed. Staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful, despite not knowing much english. They did have an english menu which 95% matched the german. Food was good. We were intrigued by the neighbouring table order of a pasta...prepared at table in a big cheese round with scrapings of truffle.

we have eaten on a Sunday evening in the Mediterranean, the small restaurant was almost full and very full. we were served efficiently but very friendly, the food and the drinks came fast and were very nice. we would definitely eat back here.

we drove around this place and wanted to have a nice, light dinner. small place and neat. the food was quickly prepared and the portion was in order! I really recommend. price is correct!

Restaurante familiar; Servicio amigable, eficiente, excelentes entrantes y muy a un precio razonable. Esta es siempre una buena apuesta para un almuerzo o una cena italianos agradables.

family owned restaurant; friendly, efficient service, excellent restaurants and very cheap. This is always a good bet for an enjoyable Italian lunch or dinner.
