This is a pleasant casual dining spot. The Washington, D.C. location feels cozier and more inviting compared to the one in Bethesda. The atmosphere is enjoyable, and the outdoor seating is a nice touch. However, be prepared for some difficulty finding parking in the area. The bread is absolutely delicious and a real highlight. The drinks are satisfactory, but the steak sauce is flavorful while the steak itself is quite average. Overall, it's a nice and convenient restaurant choice.

I had a unique and enjoyable experience at this restaurant. The food was tasty and served in generous portions—I almost couldn't finish all of it! The yogurt parfait was absolutely amazing! However, the French toast didn’t quite hit the mark for me; perhaps it was a bit too elaborate for my taste. Additionally, we had to wait quite a while for our meals, and the music was a bit loud. I understand why this place is a favorite, but it might not be the right fit for me.

I first came here with my boss for a business dinner. I liked it so much that my wife and I went there twice more before we moved back down to Texas. The food is amazing. I have no complaints about anything. The limited menu is interesting but just trust them. They know what they are doing and they do it well. In fact, we like them so much that we order their sauce twice a year to be shipped down to Texas so we can have a date night or two that mimics, as closely

My daughter brought me here to celebrate my birthday quite a while ago and it was an amazing experience. We enjoyed the steak, salad and overall everything was wonderful. The ambience is wonderful and the service was great. For my birthday, they brought out a delicious dessert with a huge but wonderful sparkler on it. Quite impressive. The restaurant was pricey but it was a perfect way to celebrate a special day. If I'm ever in DC, I would definitely go back. Reserva una mesa ahora

If I could give Medium Rare 6 stars, I would. My wife and I went here for my 40th birthday, we chose it based on reviews and it being a highly rated steakhouse in Washington DC, and based on the price of dinner. It's kind of nice to only have to decide what to drink and how you want your steak cooked! And then the surprise of getting a second helping! Seriously, everything was delicious and I will definitely come back when I'm in DC again.

AMAZING Experience!! I love the idea of this place! There isn?t really much of a menu, you?ll eat very well made steak and fries and the best sliced mushrooms ever! Desert was outta this world and the waiter was one of the best and just made the night perfect???? great for dates and business dinners too

What a rip off? $40 per person for this? I just want to know if they ever saw a steak in their life. This is basically cheap beef cuts in a sauce that covers all the cheap flavor of the meat. Portions are too small. Food is not tasty. One of the worst experiences in life!

The prices have increased over the past few years, but it’s still a fantastic place to dine. They offer a kids' portion, which is only five dollars cheaper for half the amount of food—not the best value.

Medium Rare is definitely worth a special visit if you're nearby. They focus on a single dish, and they execute it perfectly.
